Director of Rehabilitation Therapy Services

Hannah Gresham, CCC/SLP, CBIS is the director of rehabilitation therapy services at Ochsner Rehabilitation Hospital. In this role, she oversees the growth and development of the therapy staff, including physical and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and rehabilitation aides. Hannah also started the pet therapy program at Ochsner Rehabilitation Hospital with her dog, Samantha, a certified pet therapist.

A speech-language pathologist for more than seven years, Hannah served as the therapy manager at Ochsner Rehabilitation Hospital for nearly two years before taking on her current role. Prior to that, Hannah worked at West Jefferson Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital and North Oaks Hospital as a speech-language pathologist for five years.

Hannah received master’s and bachelor’s degrees in communication disorders from Louisiana State University. She is a board-certified brain injury specialist and is certified in VitalStim (a non-invasive external electrical stimulation therapy, applied to the neck, to treat swallowing disorders) and Interactive Metronome therapy (a program in which an individual uses headphones, a computer screen and a rhythmic beat to perform a variety of exercises while trying to stay on this beat).

Hannah is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Brain Injury Association of America.
